Robert Rothe
CEO (Managing Director) and Founder
Robert Rothe is one of the internet pioneers in Germany. As early as
1989 Rothe founded his first IT consulting company and got involved
with the "Net of the future". In 1994 he established Interactive
Networx and started "SNAFU", the first commercial Internet access for
private clients in Germany.

Among others, Interactive Networx served corporate customers like
Daimler AG, Bankgesellschaft Berlin, CompuNet and Herlitz, as well as
some big media houses like Gruner+Jahr, Sat.1, ARD and ORB.
Interactive Networx pioneered in the area of mobile internet
services as well, developing and supporting numerous new services for
Mannesmann D2. In 1998 the highly profitable Interactive Networx was
taken over by the American Internet-Carrier PSINet. Rothe remained
managing director of Interactive Networx and held management positions
at PSINet. In 1998 the then German President Roman Herzog awarded
Robert Rothe as "Mutiger Unternehmer" ("courageous entrepreneur"). In
mid-2000 Rothe left PSINet, working as an adviser and consultant for
various European IT and Telecommunication companies.
In December 2001, Robert Rothe founded the eleven GmbH to fight back
the then already upcoming spam thread by an email security solution
made in Germany. Today, Robert Rothe is the CEO (managing director) of
eleven.

Nele Harms
Director of Human Resources
Nele Harms is responsible for the human resources department at
eleven. She started her career within the HR segment at the German IT
Company IVU Traffic Technologies while studying at the Berlin School of
Economics (FHW), Berlin.

After her studies she joined the company as the responsible Head of
Recruiting. The company grew very quickly to 450 employees between 1999
and 2001. Nele Harms then held a responsible position as HR Manager for
the US-based technology company IQPC with more than 1,000 employees
worldwide. She joined eleven in 2006 with specific focus on recruiting
and developing staff.

Walter Schumann
Vice President Sales
As VP Sales, Walter Schumann is responsible for all sales activities
of eleven. His central responsibilities include developing eleven’s
international business and consolidating its leading market position in
Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Walter Schumann brings to eleven more
than 20 years of experience in the software and IT security industries,
mostly in international management positions. Prior to joining eleven,
he was General Manager Central and Eastern Europe at the content
security provider Clearswift.

Before that, he was General Manager and Senior VP Sales &
Marketing EMEA at the leading German security provider Astaro. Other
management positions include Managing Director EMEA at Zone Labs,
Managing Director Germany at VA Linux Systems and Marketing Director
EMEA at Adaptec. Walter Schumann has a Master’s degree from the
University of Tennessee (USA).

JF Sullivan
Vice President Marketing
JF Sullivan is responsible for developing and expanding the eleven's
global marketing activities. He has over 20 years of experience in the
email industry. Before joining eleven, JF Sullivan performed a similar
role at the US e-mail security provider Cloudmark, Inc.

Prior to this, he was the Vice President of Marketing and Products
for Habeas Inc., a recognized leader in email certification and
reputation services. At at Sendmail Inc., he managed the company's
commercial product lines. JF Sullivan was also Vice President of
Marketing at Webraska Mobile Technologies, Executive Producer at Topica
Inc., Director of Product Marketing for Netscape and responsible for
Internet connectivity products at Lotus.
JF Sullivan is considered to be one of the world’s leading e-mail
experts. He holds a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of
Florida and completed the executive marketing program at Penn State
University.
